MEET THE WEST MAIN FINE ARTS ACADEMY

Stacey S. Lotten, Founding Artistic Director

The West Main Fine Arts Academy was established as the first elementary fine arts academy in Lancaster Independent School District. The academy strives to incorporate a robust arts education into the traditional curriculum in elementary schools. The academy focuses on the following fine arts:

  • Visual arts

  • Dance

  • Theater arts

  • General music

  • Piano

Students who participate in the West Main Fine Arts Academy have learned and grown into young artists, finding their passion in one or many of the disciplines. Many have won local and state awards, joined all-state choirs, and have experienced the fine arts on a professional level.
